CORE PURPOSE AND ESSENCE OF THE POSITION:
As a Project Manager, Customer Support , you will support the Director, Customer Support by leading key projects to the success of the business and will be responsible for the day-to-day support and success of our client. You will act as a liaison between the client and operations team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Relations
Build up a long-term relationship of trust with the customers in your portfolio and learn about their operations (SLA, SOW and SLAs.).
Serving as the main point of contact between client and operations
Addressing any concerns or issues a client may have and working with leadership to resolve them
Monitor the Customer Satisfaction, draw up action plans, coordinate with the operations team to complete them.
Project Management:
Work with the Operations Leadership Team to establish projects which support the growth of our business.
Establish project plans, tasks, resources, and ownership to ensure timelines are met.
Manage internal and external projects which may extend to suppliers and clients.
Coordinate internal and external resources for the planning and execution of projects
Proactively work to remove project obstacles, identify, and manage issue escalations, and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities
Identify and manage costs associated with project budgets.
Partner with Continuous Improvement Leader to drive improvement projects through operations
Review and optimize Warehousing Processes which will range from product assembly to higher level transactional processes.
Create and document new processes as required.
Reporting
Interpret, monitor and analyze data and metrics to create various reports and queries
Creates dashboards and KPI’s to measure effectiveness and success of our deliverables
REQURIED COMPETENCIES:
Computer Skills
Expert in MS Excel, VBA and Marcos
Advanced skills in PowerPoint
Working knowledge of PowerBI, PowerAPPS, and SQL is considered an asset.
Communication Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to call, email and meet with client
Advanced customer service skills to remain personable with client to build relationships and establish yourself as a reliable source for the client to turn to with any questions or concerns
Team building and collaboration abilities when working with other departments to develop strategies that benefit client
MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
4+ years’ experience directly managing projects and client relations
3+ years’ experience in a Warehousing Operations, 3PL or Manufacturing Engineering role.
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a technical discipline. Masters is considered a plus
Prior experience establishing Manufacturing assembly processes.
Successful prior implementation of Lean Manufacturing.
Demonstrated knowledge of Lean, 5S, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Value Stream, and Process Mapping.
