This 9-month Project Manager role within the People Data & Insights team focuses on delivering our People Master Data project and data mart – key to unlocking smarter, faster decisions. You’ll drive cross-functional execution, foster adoption, and ensure customer-focused solutions. Success depends on your People (HR) data expertise, proactive project leadership, and ability to influence across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- This role is for a time period of 9 MONTHS within our People Data & Insights team.
- Project Delivery: Effectively manage the delivery of the People Master Data project and the development of the associated data mart, ensuring project goals and timelines are met.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with colleagues in People Data & Insights, Engineering and Operations to ensure seamless delivery of the People Data Master and data mart.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Ensure that the solutions developed are customer-centric, focusing on user requirements to drive adoption and satisfaction.
- Awareness and Adoption: Build awareness of People Master Data and data marts, and drive adoption through effective communication plans, guidance, and support materials for end users.
- Project Governance: Implement and manage project governance, including the intake and assessment of requirements.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on project/programme outcomes, track spend against the project budget, and ensure transparency and accountability.
- Data Governance: Collaborate with the People Data Governance team to ensure accurate recording of metadata and alignment with data strategy and policies.
About You
- Proven experience in delivering projects with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have worked as part of a project team implementing a data mart, data warehouse or similar initiative.
- Experience in working in People (HR) teams and/or working with workforce (HR) data is essential.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build awareness and drive adoption of new solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop solutions that prioritise customer needs and experiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including analytics, engineering/technology, people/HR, operations and data governance teams.
- Curiosity and interest in data & insight, and how high-quality workforce insights drive the employee experience.
