The
Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and efficient resource utilization within a hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) environment. Based in Downtown Toronto with 2–3 days onsite per week, this role will coordinate cross-functional technology teams, manage project planning and financials, and drive key initiatives across data, engineering, and business teams. Candidates must have strong experience with MS Project and demonstrated success in client-facing IT project delivery roles.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution:
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of IT projects with strict adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans using MS Project.
- Implement project management best practices and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Oversee status reporting, financial tracking, and milestone delivery.
- Manage all project phases ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
Team & Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure project goals are clearly defined and met.
- Lead cross-functional meetings and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate onshore and offshore project team efforts for optimal delivery.
- Represent the project at internal and external meetings, reporting on progress and challenges.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Lead lessons learned exercises and contribute to process improvement.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Core Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of IT project management experience.
- Expertise in MS Project and project financial tracking.
- Strong command of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proven experience with planning, reporting, risk mitigation, and resource coordination.
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-disciplinary teams in a hybrid environment.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent Agile/Scrum certifications.
Domain Knowledge
- Familiarity with Wealth Management or Financial Services is desirable.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $32.36/hour - $50.56/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
