Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours/week
Shift : Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 4:00pm
Location: AdventHealth Hinsdale Hospital office but will travel to other Regional Hospital sites as needed
The Role You’ll Contribute
Manages planning, procurement and schedule related to owner furnished equipment for assigned construction projects. Under the direction of the Manager, Construction Services, coordinate construction activities related to OFE with architects, engineers, contracting teams and hospitals. Responsible for development and management of equipment needs, providing procurement detail to ensure that timing, OFE project cost and budget as well as contract compliance. Additionally, provide professional guidance to review design changes and equipment specifications while delivering quality customer service to all departments.

- Proficient at managing multiple projects, providing the deliverables in a timely manner, with accuracy, thoroughness, and minimal supervision.
- Lead, coach and motivate equipment planning and construction specialist team, as assigned, in developing equipment lists, sourcing, scheduling and budget tracking.
- Conduct and effectively lead user group meetings; attending onsite as needed and succinctly communicating decisions, changes and follow up within expected time frames.
- Develop and manage owner furnished equipment data; effectively coordinating and communicating with all team members.
- Develop and manage the equipment budget with monthly reporting to external program manager and executive steering committee at facility.
- Coordination and timely distribution of owner furnished equipment, technical data and budget to design/contracting teams and program manager
- Provide leadership in product and vendor selections ensuring AHS contracts and standards are incorporated while meeting the needs of the customer.
- Provide coordination and oversight of OFE deliveries and installation per the construction schedule milestones.
- Close coordination during transition with all disciplines and include accepting product onsite if necessary for a
- successful project completion.
- Conduct post-mortem on projects when complete to create/update process flow or implement lessons learned for future projects.
- Travel as needed to ensure effective project management estimated to be approximately 40-60% of time.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's OR five (5) years' experience in construction / project management Required
- 5 years experience in the medical equipment planning industry Required
- Strong Project Management skills and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks.
- Experienced with building and equipment specifications and a solid understanding of sourcing/procurement.
- Effective communication, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff from executive to onsite construction teams and vendors.
- Familiarity with construction blueprints and ability to read/interpret floor plans.
- Experience in utilization of Attainia software
- Familiar with web based applications
- Proficiency with analytical software tools/ Excel
- Knowledge of medical equipment planning practices.
