Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, while managing a team to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate and manage project resources, including subcontractors and suppliers
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports
- Monitor and control project progress and performance, and implement necessary changes
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and address issues
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
- Experience managing residential, multi-family, retail, office, and hospital construction projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- PMP certification or similar is a plus
