The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general contracting and construction management, with a focus on delivering high-quality results that meet client specifications. - Overseeing pre-construction activities
- Conducting accurate estimating
- Managing contracts
- Scheduling (preferably using P6)
- Implementing construction means and methods
- Controlling costs
- Handling payment processes
- Managing project closeouts
Experience Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in heavy construction (bridge work, infrastructure, plant & process)
- Possess the expertise to manage projects from preconstruction to closeout
- Be a self-starter with strong team management skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be confident and effective in delivering formal presentations
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and seek win-win outcomes
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times
- Lead by example, displaying honesty and integrity
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to exceptional customer service
- Reside in the Chicagoland area
