Roles and Responsibilities (R&R): Project Manager - CMS Team ( for SEO team )
Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of 5-6 developers and designers responsible for CMS-related tasks.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor the progress of work within the team.
Project Coordination:
Manage day-to-day project operations, ensuring alignment with timelines, resources, and goals.
Oversee the execution of on-page optimization tasks based on input from the SEO team.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs, including web design updates, CMS adjustments, and optimization tasks.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact between the CMS development team and the SEO team ( Sales+Operations ), ensuring smooth communication and alignment of project goals.
Regularly update key stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
On-Page Optimization Oversight:
Ensure that on-page SEO tasks are implemented effectively by coordinating with developers and designers.
Oversee the optimization of websites for speed, responsiveness, and SEO performance.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support to the CMS team, particularly in troubleshooting and optimizing CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, SquareSpace).
Ensure best practices are followed when developing, maintaining, and updating CMS platforms.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all CMS-related tasks undergo thorough testing and validation to maintain high standards of functionality and performance.
Conduct regular reviews to ensure the delivery of error-free, SEO-optimized websites.
Time and Resource Management:
Balance multiple ongoing projects while adhering to deadlines and managing available resources efficiently.
Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Collaboration with SEO Team:
Work closely with the SEO team to align technical execution with SEO strategies and optimize web tasks for search engine ranking.
Ensure the proper implementation of SEO recommendations within CMS systems.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive ongoing improvements in project management processes, CMS platform efficiency, and team workflows.
Identify opportunities for team development and encourage knowledge-sharing and skill enhancement among team members.
Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
Provide leadership in resolving technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and user experience challenges related to the CMS platforms.
Troubleshoot integration or CMS-related issues that affect website performance or functionality.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation for all CMS-related processes, optimization tasks, and project outcomes.
Prepare reports on project status, resource utilization, and performance metrics for leadership and stakeholders.
