We’re looking for a hands-on Project Manager to lead the execution of commercial wood mill projects from planning through delivery. This role calls for someone who can coordinate teams, hit deadlines, and keep quality at the forefront—without losing sight of safety and cost. You’ll be the point person ensuring our work reflects the pride we take in doing the job right.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee wood mill projects from start to finish
  • Manage schedules, procurement, and logistics to meet production goals
  • Work closely with mill crews, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Review and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specs
  • Maintain budgets and cost tracking throughout project lifecycle
  • Ensure quality standards and safety protocols are consistently met
  • Lead regular check-ins and jobsite walkthroughs to resolve issues proactively
  • Communicate clearly with leadership on project status, risks, and needs
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies or gaps


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction, millwork, or manufacturing project management
  • Strong knowledge of commercial mill operations, equipment, and materials
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical documents
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project)
  • OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain
