Must Haves:

-6-8 years of technical design experience using PLS Tower and PLS Pole

- 2 years of project management experience within structural transmission line engineering

-PE License

-Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering

Plusses:

-Experience with STAAD, Pro, or Risa design software

-SE License

Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager, to sit in the Chattanooga area. The Project Manager will be responsible for Transmission Line projects, handling them from cradle to grave. They will be responsible for a variety of customers, in a variety of areas. They will handle all projects as it relates to the structural side of power delivery and/or transmission lines (towers, poles, foundations, corrosion inspection & mitigation, analysis, and design). They will be responsible for client facing and business development.

Other responsibilities include:

- Project initiation - develop client proposals, defining scope of work, schedule, budgets, subcontractors, etc.

- Leading project teams, ensuring all goals and timelines are met and followed.

- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work

- Track project expenditures, cost and schedule performance, and project controls

They will see projects from cradle to grave, and oversee a variety of projects at once that are in different stages of completion.
