Project Manager – Automotive Dealership Construction

Location: Charleston, SC

Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per annum + Benefits

My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in automotive dealership construction to join their Charleston, SC team. This role is responsible for leading all aspects of dealership projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of brand standards, showroom specifications, and service area requirements unique to the automotive industry.

• Oversee construction of car dealership facilities, ensuring adherence to manufacturer guidelines and quality standards
• Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams across multiple disciplines
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and automotive OEM representatives
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and brand-specific requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of project management experience, with a strong focus on automotive dealership construction
• Proven ability to manage multiple pent software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
