Location: Must be able to work in Burnsville, MN
Compensation: The expected annual base salary range for this Minnesota-based position is $80,000-110,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, and Retirement Benefits).
Basic Function
The Project Manager position is responsible for leading the product development teams to launch new MRI compatible products. This position will also collaborate with third-party partners and support internal initiatives. Additionally, this position is responsible for adhering to the Imricor Quality Management System requirements and fulfilling duties as outlined in the environmental, health, and safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Defines project scope and objectives, involving all relevant customers and stakeholders.
- Oversees project scope management and project change requests.
- Manages the cost, schedule, and technical performance of product development projects.
- Creates, updates, and maintains detailed project plans and schedules.
- Identifies and manages technical and timeline risks. Develops and implements solutions to mitigate.
- Facilitates and coordinates project team meetings, including agendas, minutes, decisions, key conclusions, and action items.
- Provides project metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with and manages critical suppliers.
- Develops and implements the use of AI and other project management tools into projects and company processes.
- Communicates complex information effectively to all organization levels, customers, and external partners.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical discipline, or life science is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in medical device development, with 1-2 years of experience in electro-mechanical and/or catheter-based systems (including electrical, mechanical, and firmware/software) preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with FDA, MDR, and ISO standards is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to interface and influence at all organizational levels.
- Strong engineering, analytical, and problem-solving skills within a team environment.
- Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum project management methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage both internal and external customers and vendors.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Demonstrated capacity to translate high-level objectives into detailed tasks and milestones.
- Proven ability to understand and meet stakeholder requirements at all levels.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools preferred.
Working Conditions
- Light work, exerting up to 20 lbs. of force or less.
- 85% of the time requires viewing and working on a computer screen.
- Significant work pace & pressure due to deadlines.
