Job Description

The CDMO Project Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for all measures to ensure the sustainability of the project business in close cooperation with the CDMO Business Development Manager, the development teams and Senior Project Management. This includes procurement, process performance, capacity and business continuity. He/she is also responsible for the introduction of new projects at the sites and works closely with the development sites and the support functions, e.g. Quality, HSE and Supply Chain.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Capture/evaluate customer requests impacting development sites in collaboration with CDMO Project Managers
• Propose/initiate procurement action plan, including resource planning in coordination with operations
• Create & drive business continuity action plans for his/her portfolio
• Manage and track capacity studies required to meet new customer requirements
• Directly or indirectly manage projects against key performance indicators reporting to local management
• Work closely with the project management team and the Senior Project Manager
• Development and optimization of business processes
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• University degree in natural sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, chemical engineering, doctorate is an advantage
• Chemistry skills/knowledge ideally in development
• Knowledge/skills in project management
• English: professional level
• Analytical view of complex issues and the ability to explain/formulate/propose a synthetic picture with a strategic view
• Strong behavior to work transversally in projects as the main responsible person.
• Confident in dealing with top managers, colleagues and international locations
• Experience in working transversally with the entire industry/development and business organization
• Collaborate with local project management to meet and anticipate customer expectations in close collaboration with operations
• Work independently & proactively to secure the business and improve performance
