The goal of the project of our client is to construct an energy island that efficiently and reliably connects Belgian offshore wind energy to the mainland.

For the Island Package, we are looking for a driven Senior Project Manager. In this role, you are responsible for monitoring and managing all quality aspects within the project. You work closely with the project team and serve as the link between Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

Key responsibilities:

• You report to the Interface & Quality Manager.

• You act as the main point of contact for all Quality Assurance matters within the Island package, both internally and with the EPC Contractor.

• You ensure the implementation and monitoring of the Project Quality Management System and overall quality performance, in line with Elia’s Quality Management Plan and requirements.

• You review and challenge quality documentation provided by the EPC Contractor and Subcontractors.

• You actively participate in internal and external audits, including those of the EPC Contractor and Subcontractors.

• You support Quality Control activities during the delivery phase and follow up on non-conformities and quality risks.

• You promote adherence to the processes and procedures outlined in the Project Quality Management Plan within the project team.

Who are you?

• You hold a technical bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent through experience).

• You have proven experience in offshore, EPCI, or maritime projects.

• You work in a structured, proactive, and detail-oriented manner.

•You are a clear communicator with a critical mindset and the confidence to challenge existing processes.

• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus.
