About Your Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you’ll be managing a variety of large multimillion dollar capital projects. You’ll do this by collaborating regularly with our internal support functions such as engineering and other key business stakeholders and clients across the world. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project from initiation to execution and closure and will need to effectively lead and control the project team activities, to deliver the project successfully. Project Management experience in the food and beverage industry is strongly desired for this role.
List Of Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring all phases of the project are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensuring the project is delivered to SPX FLOW and customer quality standards.
- Construct well-structured project programs to facilitate the execution of the project and communicate these accurately both with internal resource leaders and the client, to ensure the project is accurately tracked and updated.
- Ensure effective planning and control of risks to minimize adverse impact on project costs and deliverables.
- Ensure the project scope is effectively managed in accordance with the contractual agreement and internal business processes, including contract scope change management.
- Along with project controls, collaborate and ensure proper and effective financial control of projects to meeting project deliverables and budget.
- Ensure SPX FLOW EHS procedures and local legislation for health and safety are integrated in the project planning and execution.
- Carry out the necessary weekly / monthly project review meetings with the client and internal team members & generate required reports.
- Support the SPX FLOW BPO (bid process owner) at sales stages with planning, risk management & project execution strategy.
What You Need
- Project management experience & engineering awareness in food / pharma / beverage / industrial engineering applications.
- Degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Dairy Food engineering desired.
- Experience working with international teams
- English language skills.
- Ability to communicate with a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders
- Able to analyse technical information and prioritise issues and activities
- Experience using Microsoft Project.
- A strong track record of delivering large-scale complex projects in excess of 5 million euro and more in the food and beverage industry.
- Skilled in SAP for project reporting an advantage.
