Role Description
Oversees the planning, execution, and closure of IT infrastructure projects while ensuring adherence to pre-defined service levels. They focus on managing projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards, with a particular emphasis on ensuring SLAs are met and maintained
Must-have skills
Project Planning and Execution:
- Developing project plans, including scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Defining tasks, timelines, and resources.
- Managing project budgets and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
SLA Management:
- Defining and documenting SLAs for infrastructure services.
- Monitoring service performance against SLAs and identifying deviations.
- Developing and implementing corrective actions to address SLA breaches.
- Reporting on SLA performance to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure clarity.
- Facilitating project meetings and documenting progress.
- Maintaining communication with stakeholders and providing status updates.
Vendor Management:
- Managing vendor relationships and contracts.
- Ensuring vendors adhere to SLAs and project requirements.
Technical Expertise:
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components, such as networks, servers, and storage.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
