Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Project Manager to lead the implementation and customization of a .NET-based application for our client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale software projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to project timelines and budgets.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the migration and enhancement of a .NET software application, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that technical solutions align with business needs. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams toward successful project completion.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Ensure the .NET project is executed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee implementation, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide regular project status updates, highlighting progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Lead and motivate development teams, including developers and analysts.
• Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and facilitate agile ceremonies.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and control costs effectively.
  
  

Required Experience/Skills

• 8+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years leading multi-million-dollar projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Extensive experience in managing .NET application development projects.
• Hands-on experience with workflow management, file management, and reporting.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Microsoft certifications related to .NET or Azure.
• Experience working with government agencies or similar environments.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification required.
