Salary Range: $65-$88 an hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale enterprise implementations, with a strong focus on state or federal government projects. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in managing complex technical projects, particularly within the State of Texas or similar government environments. This role requires a blend of project management leadership, technical development background, and familiarity with government frameworks and procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale enterprise implementations from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with the Texas Project Delivery Framework or similar state-level methodologies.
• Track and manage project activities using tools such as Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies where applicable.
• Facilitate procurement processes and contract management in accordance with state policies.
• Prepare and deliver regular project reports, risk assessments, and escalation communications to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of project management experience in large-scale enterprise implementations
• 8+ years of experience in State of Texas or similar federal/state project management
• 8+ years of hands-on development experience (technical background)

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP Certification (preferred, not required)
• 5+ years of experience with Texas Project Delivery Framework
• 3+ years of experience with Agile (Scrum) methodologies
• 2+ years of experience managing Salesforce projects
• 2+ years of experience with state procurement and contracting
• 1+ year of experience using Jira for project tracking and collaboration
