Job Description

Position Overview: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple roofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our company and General Contractors (GCs), subcontractors, and clients, handling contract reviews, submittals, scheduling, building permits, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination & Communication:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for General Contractors (GCs) and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to all stakeholders effectively.
  • Contract & Submittal Management:
  • Review and manage project contracts, subcontracts, and all relevant documentation.
  • Prepare and submit required documents, including submittals, change orders, and RFI’s (Requests for Information).
  • Scheduling & Budgeting:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate resources, subcontractors, and materials to meet project timelines.
  • Assist in project budgeting, monitor expenses, and control costs.
  • Permits & Compliance:
  • Ensure all required building permits are obtained in a timely manner.
  • Ensure projects comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Inventory & Ordering:
  • Manage project material inventory, ordering roofing materials and ensuring the timely delivery of supplies.
  • Monitor and manage equipment and material usage to ensure accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
  • Billing & Invoicing:
  • Oversee project billing, ensuring accurate invoicing of clients.
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices for payment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the commercial roofing or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and contractors effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Knowledge of roofing-related permit processes and regulations is a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
