Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in excavation and infrastructure projects, particularly in the heavy-civil sector, ensuring that all phases of the project are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning sessions and manage project timelines
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to facilitate collaboration
- Monitor project progress and implement changes as necessary to ensure project goals are met
- Prepare and manage budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the heavy-civil or infrastructure sector
- Proven experience in excavation projects and understanding of heavy equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
