Project Management Coordinator

The Managed Services Project Management Coordinator will have a variable remit for each customer or project as delegated by the Project Consultant or Management. This may involve owning all aspects of the service on behalf of the SHL customers, liaising with both customers and their candidates as required. The role will require the interaction with various internal SHL functions to deliver and support project requirements that meet customer expectations.

As a Project Management Coordinator, You Will

  • Develop and maintain Client project plans, managing the progress of key project deliverables and critical dependencies across multiple projects / project types.
  • Risk and Issue tracking, mitigation, prioritization and overall management over the life cycle of the project
  • Monitoring and coordinating updates with internal teams to accurately confirm project status, delivery of milestones, delivery timelines and resource requirements.
  • Tracking project scope; ensuring adherence to budget and schedule and identify/ address/escalate issues, disputes, or objections that may impede success.
  • Facilitating project meetings and communicate on-going project status to clients, stakeholders and collaborators.
  • Attend and participate in departmental and inter-departmental meetings
  • Support up skilling of other members of the Managed Services teams
  • Contribute to improving the Managed Services project delivery and quality assurance
  • Establish effective internal relationships with: MS Project management, Support and quality assurance team, GCSC teams, Local Professional services and Central Professional services teams - to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our Projects to clients
  • The MS Project Management Coordinator will be expected to build a strong knowledge of the Managed Services offerings and solutions to present world class solutions to external clients

Essential Functions

  • Drive and coordinate multiple, simultaneous delivery projects
  • Create and maintain project plans, track and manage progress of key project deliverables across multiple projects
  • Identify and address/escalate any issues that arise during project planning or implementation
  • Coordinate with internal groups to confirm timelines, resource allocation, critical dependencies and status
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate on-going project status to stakeholders and collaborators
  • Attend and participate in departmental and interdepartmental meetings, and perform additional tasks as necessary

  • Working different shift patterns, and on Bank Holidays to support business. Providing weekend support when required.

Experience

  • Solid experience with a customer contact / customer delivery environment. (+2 years)
  • Superior customer/member service ethic
  • Superior interpersonal skills; excellent written & oral communication skills
  • Working experience of VBA/Python/Power BI/SQL based Tools. Capability of reading and understanding of scripts is preferred.
  • Strong experience of working and managing to KPI targets/SLAs; working to milestones and deadlines, reporting progress & dealing with change requests.
  • Experience of working with a global and international organisation
  • Working with Shift patterns
  • International travel experience however not essential
  • Prefer but not essential demonstrable experience in working in a Project Delivery Framework.
