Project Manager- multiple open positions!

Location: Edgewood, MD

Salary: $80-130k DOE

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction projects in the utilities sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including vendors, subcontractors, and engineering teams, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
• Prepare and present project status reports to upper management and clients.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the utilities or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience with project management software and tools, such as Viewpoint, Civil, and Vista.
• Familiarity with construction documents, budgeting, and scheduling practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
