Participate in the development of project proposals, defining technical specifications, timelines, budgets, and material requirements in collaboration with sales and engineering teams.
Analyze client needs and project sites, considering factors like building purpose, size, foundation conditions, and local building codes.
Assist with the development of PEB system designs, ensuring they meet structural integrity requirements and client specifications.
Prepare detailed project schedules and work plans, identifying resource needs (personnel, materials, equipment).
Manage project procurement, ensuring timely acquisition of PEB components, including primary and secondary framing, cladding materials, doors, windows, and other necessary elements.
Project Execution and Construction:
Oversee and manage PEB construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety regulations, and building codes.
Coordinate with subcontractors, erection crews, and civil engineers to guarantee smooth project execution.
Conduct quality inspections throughout the construction process to verify proper installation of PEB components and compliance with specifications.
Manage project budget and track expenditures, identifying and addressing cost variances.
Monitor project progress against the plan, proactively resolving any delays or challenges that may arise.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and construction teams.
Project Completion and Handover:
Oversee final inspections and testing procedures to ensure the completed PEB structure meets all functional and safety requirements.
Prepare project handover documentation, including as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty information.
Conduct initial training for the client on proper maintenance procedures for the PEB structure.
Conduct project closure activities, documenting lessons learned for future projects and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (e.g., Construction Management) is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project engineering or construction management, with experience in steel structures a plus.
Strong understanding of PEB systems, including design principles, manufacturing processes, and erection procedures.
Working knowledge of structural engineering concepts and building codes applicable to PEB structures.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in technical software relevant to structural engineering and construction drawings (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
