Additionally, the Finance Project Controller is to support the Project Management and Engineering Department leaders on internal standardization projects and measurement techniques to support and develop the business. Financial Project Controller is also involved in the production site processes and topics and intensively works with all departments on the monthly and quarterly performance and business forecast.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Controller shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Running month end close transactions for the US Project portfolio
• Carry out monthly reviews of the projects with Project Managers to ensure planned values reflect the operational status
• Track, understand and challenge margin deviations
• Ensuring accuracy of the billing plan and timely invoicing to customers
• Providing visibility to and challenging Project Managers on cash collection
• Supporting PMs on the quarterly reforecast of Revenues and Margin
• Support the Project Manager & project team in all financial aspects, including risk evaluation & risk management
• Ad-hoc support to PMs for specific analyses.
• Ensure reliability of data, reports and compliance with group and IFRS rules

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED

• Minimum 3-5 years in Project Controlling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive attitude: trying to anticipate problems to alert or act before they arise or grow
• Proficient in Excel: comfortable with the use of pivot tables and able to read/understand/create complex formulas
• Problem solving mindset: willingness to understand the source of an issue and search to workout potential solutions
• Experience with SAP including the PS module

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

• Knowledge of Power BI and/or Power Queries is a Plus.
• Ability to read and understand the content of a contract
