Job Details

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Executive for our Commercial Construction division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction management with experience managing a portfolio of a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of the project.
• Manage the project budget, including the estimation, forecasting, and control of project costs.
• Lead and manage the project team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication, high morale, and positive team dynamics.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring their performance meets the project's requirements and standards.
• Use Procore project management software to manage project schedules, resources, risks, and changes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project design and execution align with the project's objectives and specifications.
• Conduct regular project reviews and report on project status to senior management.
• Business development and expansion of business.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, including experience in managing large-scale commercial construction projects. Bonus points for experience within Heavy & Light industrial, Healthcare, and/or Institutional projects.
• Must have experience with business development
• Proficiency in Procore or similar construction project management software.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and industry standards.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
• Track record of managing vendors and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong budget management skills, including the ability to estimate, forecast, and control project costs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and senior management.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is preferred.
