Summary

Position Title: Estimator / Project Manager - Fire Protection

Location - Wilmington, Delaware / Lancaster County, PA

Role Overview

  • Estimate, prepare proposals and budgets for fire protection projects
  • Manage projects from bid award to closeout alongside installation project managers
  • Build and maintain relationships with general contractors and business partners

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and apply NFPA 13 and related fire protection codes for accurate estimates
  • Prepare clear, competitive project proposals
  • Review pre-bid documents and attend pre-bid meetings
  • Submit final bids and proposals; document and follow up on bids
  • Perform on-site estimate surveys
  • Review contracts for scope and compliance
  • Manage project change orders

  • Estimating Team
  • Business Manager
  • Contract Administrator
  • Service Manager (for coordinating materials and tools on small projects)

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of building construction and mechanical systems
