POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a hard-working, professional Restoration Project Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to handle both office and field-based tasks. This role involves visiting job sites, preparing detailed scopes for insurance losses (including flood/water, fire, mold, and other property damage), and working closely with the Department Manager for Emergency Services to ensure projects are efficiently estimated and executed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Job Walks & Onsite Meetings: Respond to service requests, perform job walks, and attend onsite meetings. Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed scopes, estimates, and proposals for flood/water, fire, mold, and other property damage restoration. Client & Communication Management: Communicate effectively with customers, project stakeholders, insurance adjusters, and other parties to ensure satisfaction and smooth project execution. Client Relationship Building: Grow the existing client base while maintaining strong relationships with current clients. Project Management Support: Assist project managers and maintain regular communication to ensure alignment and project progress. Documentation Management: Properly file and maintain accurate documentation for each project, ensuring compliance with company standards. REQUIREMENTS Experience with Xactimate (required); experience with Symbility software is a plus. Proven ability to multitask, with a strong attention to detail. A responsible and proactive individual capable of working independently and as part of a team. Preferred: Previous experience in insurance restoration estimating and/or project management. However, we are willing to train the right candidate. Knowledge of restoration methods, equipment, schedules, contracts, and industry specifications is helpful. Strong mathematical and analytical skills are required. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
