About The Role
The Project Estimator will play a critical role in analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting our project management team to ensure successful project execution. This position requires a strong background in construction estimating, excellent communication skills, and a keen ability to assess costs, timelines, and materials required for diverse construction projects.
The estimator will also secondarily assist with some project management aspects. This position involves coordination of multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to provide accurate and detailed instructions in both verbal and written form. The estimator will also work as the Client Relationship/Sales team.
It will also be the responsibility of the estimator to compile and administer an accurate estimate to the client and the project managers. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The estimator must also have the ability to self-motivate and regulate their own schedule. For this role, the company will provide a vehicle to be utilized on the job and taken home at night.
Qualifications
- Preferred certification or a Bachelor"s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 3 year experience estimating for a general contractor, with a proven track record of successful cost estimation for commercial or residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and costs.
- Proficient in estimating software (ProEst, Sage Estimating, Buildertrend) and the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors and internal team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations and construction industry standards.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test (required).

The Pay Range For This Role Is
60,000 - 70,000 USD per year(Mishawaka)
