Job Summary As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the construction industry by analyzing project requirements and providing accurate cost estimates to ensure successful project completion. Duties - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project specifications - Utilize Construction estimating software such as Bid 2 Win to prepare detailed cost estimates - Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates - Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing - Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process - Assist in contract preparation and review - Conduct on-site visits to assess construction sites and gather necessary information Skills - Proficiency in Construction management principles - Strong understanding of Project management techniques - Excellent Construction estimating skills / Project Management - Ability to build accurate cost estimates for construction projects - Knowledge of Cost control methods in the construction industry - Familiarity with pricing strategies and negotiation tactics - Experience with Bid 2 Win software is a plus Qualifications - Proven experience in construction estimating and project management - Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle pricing discussions effectively - Familiarity with Bluebeam software and Bid 2 Win for accurate cost estimation - Knowledge of construction site operations and contracts - Excellent communication and organizational skills for successful project execution Job Type: Full-time Pay: $67,056.00 - $72,694.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Construction estimating: 2 years (Required) Contracts: 1 year (Required) Cost control: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Auburn, AL 36830 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Auburn, AL 36830: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
