Job Responsibilities

Lead project engineers in Dongguan office to develop toy products by brand ranging from slug figures and basic plush to animatronic robots and featured plush; Evaluate product development plans and manage the progress against the quality, cost & schedule baselines.

• Verify product development schedules.
• Manage project risks.
• Liaise with regional/overseas functional partners and vendors.
• Oversee the development activities:
• Evaluate vendor quotations, provide cost-feature trade-off directions and determine tooling optimization.
• Manage model makers in developing engineering prototypes and preparing toy fair models.
• Propose mechanical design directions.
• Evaluate engineering pilot samples and provide modification suggestions.
• Review production line setups for inland or overseas manufacturing vendors.
• Ensure production output aligning with committed target in technical perspective
  
  

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years working experience in project management in toys industry, Managerial experience is preferred.
• Good in toys product structural and mechanism design, materials selection and manufacturing process.
• Mature, self-motivated, detail-minded, responsible & able to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
• Frequent travel is required, i.e. China and South Asia Countries.
