We are working with a leader in the world of sustainable energy solutions to hire a Project Engineer who will support engineering deliverables across design, construction, procurement, and commissioning. This role ensures quality and coordination at every project stage, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and review IFB drawing packages for issuance to GC/Design Builder
  • Manage and track technical submittals; oversee internal review and approvals
  • Evaluate change requests from vendors and system providers and advise project teams
  • Lead weekly updates on technology and systems integration
  • Standardize technical solutions and develop engineering templates
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests and vendor site inspections
  • Support Balance of Plant and Agricultural Engineers in aligning field execution with engineering standards
  • Ensure integration of process and control systems with commissioning requirements
  • Collect and manage vendor documentation: O&M manuals, installation instructions, P&IDs, etc.
  • Provide technical clarifications to construction teams; resolve documentation gaps
  • Collaborate with Process Engineers post-bid to support procurement decisions
  • Respond to RFIs and manage submittal reviews; oversee 3rd party engineering support


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Geotech)
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, project delivery, or construction oversight
  • Strong technical problem-solving and documentation management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project communication tools
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and remote team coordination skills
  • Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges
  • U.S. work authorization and ability to report to the Weston, MA office (hybrid schedule)
  • Preferred: PE license, MBA, or PMP certification
  • Experience in energy, water, wastewater, or anaerobic systems is highly desirable
