We have a great challenge for a Project Engineer. As a Project Engineer within the Engineering & Project Management department, you will support customer-oriented implementations and optimizations of logistics concepts and processes. Due to business expansion, we are looking for a motivated Project Engineer. In this role, you will be part of the on-site Engineering team and report to the Manager of Engineering & Project Management.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Translating internal and external customer requirements into a Business Requirement Document (BRD);

• Designing and implementing logistics processes for new and existing customers;

• Optimizing physical layouts and assessing/discussing automation solutions;

• Preparing process descriptions and translating them into functional specifications for IT system developments;

• Actively engaging in analyzing and assessing customer logistics challenges;

• Independently managing smaller projects and actively participating in larger projects.

Function Requirements

• You have a bachelor's/master's degree in logistics, supply chain management or similar;

• Solid experience is a plus, but motivation and eagerness to learn are more important;

• You have knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and logistics processes;

• Experience with logistics automation solutions and implementations is a strong plus;

• You have good knowledge of MS Office Excel (Visio and AutoCAD are a plus);

• You have a strong analytical mindset, are highly structured, demonstrate critical thinking skills, and can maintain a broad perspective while paying attention to details;

• You have the ability to work independently and accurately;

• You have strong communication skills in English, Dutch preferred.
