Project Engineer – Offshore Wind Cabling

Location: Netherlands (with travel; flexible/hybrid working)

Contract: 12 months - Full-time

Sector: Offshore Wind | EPCi | Cable Installation (export cables)

A client of mine, a leading EPCi contractor specialising in subsea cable installation, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support their offshore wind export cable projects. You’ll be involved from the early project phase, playing a key role in developing engineering documentation and supporting the project through to offshore execution.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and write technical documentation, method statements, and HSE planning
• Provide technical support for offshore cable installation during execution phase
• Coordinate across engineering, offshore teams, and suppliers
• Act as a key technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications required:

• Engineering degree qualified (Mechanical, Civil, Marine Engineering, etc.)
• Experience in offshore wind, subsea cables, or marine construction
• Prior experience writing export cable installation method statements and procedures
• Familiarity with shallow water operations is advantageous
• Excellent English skills; fluent Dutch is desired.
