Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team in supporting the Everglades Restoration Program. This role involves managing various project documentation and coordinating subcontractor activities while providing support to the Project Manager and Superintendent.
Responsibilities
* Handle submittals, requests for information, and daily reports.
* Coordinate activities between subcontractors.
* Support the Project Manager and Project Superintendent.
* Periodically update job progress reports, submittal log, and 4-week look ahead.
* Assist in running the project in the absence of the Project Manager.
* Support a large pump station project for the SFWMD.
Essential Skills
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil or mechanical construction.
* Proficiency in handling RFIs, submittals, material take-offs, blueprints/drawings, field inspections, and reading elevations.
* Excellent computer skills.
* Preferred experience with P6 Software, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar software.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with USACE and/or SFWMD.
Work Environment
The role involves working on-site at various project locations, primarily focusing on a large pump station project. The work environment is dynamic and requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including subcontractors and project managers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.05 - $30.05/hr.
