Project Engineer – Design It. Lead It. Own It.

We’re hiring a Project Engineer for a global system integrator building custom automation solutions for automotive OEMs. They work across Powertrain, BIW & GA. You’ll lead a small team of designers and still get hands-on with SolidWorks.

What you’ll do:

• Take full ownership of mechanical design projects.
• Lead a small design team (while still doing design work yourself).
• Prototype, troubleshoot, and improve automated machinery.
• Work with customers to turn vague requirements into real designs.
• Use SolidWorks (or Inventor) to produce proper 3D models and drawings.
• Work in tandem with a Project Manager ensuring engineering milestones are hit.

What you’ll need:

• Background in machinery/tooling.
• Experience in automation.
• Solid CAD skills (SolidWorks or Inventor).
• Comfort leading projects and collaborating across teams.
• Bonus points for FEA and GD&T experience.
