Our client is an Semiconductor Manufacturing facility in the NW Phoenix AZ vicinity, and are seeking experienced Project Engineers to join the team in building the foundation for the new manufacturing facilities, industrial work, and field engineering with up to 2.1M square feet for a site, and buildings up to 600k square feet....

Project Engineer overview:

As a Construction Project Engineer, you'll serve as the direct liaison to the construction, tool install, and maintenance of our 600k sqft facility, and quickly solve high-value problems. By collaborating closely onsite to install, maintain, upgrade manufacturing equipment, you'll work with our internal teams to improve business processes.

• Evaluate production equipment performance and efficiency, ensure maintenance meets OEM, and Code requirements.
• Perform load calculations and select appropriate FEEDERS for system stability.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on transformers, generators, UPS, and batteries.
• Monitor key equipment in the central control room in real-time, including power consumption.
• Manage system operations, including installation, maintenance, and user training.
• Effective coordination and assertively directing subcontractors in construction and post construction phases.
• Hook-Up & Lay-out, Matrix review of production equipment, preparation of bidding documents, on-site supervision, equipment turn-on, and handover.
• Additional duties as the business needs.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar discipline
• 3+ years of relevant post education experience in an engineering role capacity in a manufacturing and/or construction environment
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes and regulations, and the ability to apply to operation of site Electrical Power systems.
• Proficiency with electrical engineering principles, practices, process, configuration, and the application to project work-related issues.
• Have related construction experience in manufacturing systems for semiconductor or other related industry.
