The Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting engineering operations by combining technical expertise with project leadership. This is a hands-on role that ensures engineering projects meet technical specifications, timelines, and cost objectives while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Project Engineer serves as a key point of contact, coordinating efforts between design, manufacturing, and other functional areas to drive successful project execution. Responsibilities: * Assist in the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet technical, cost, and schedule requirements. * Support manufacturing and production teams by providing engineering guidance and troubleshooting issues. * Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and engineering best practices. * Help coordinate workflow to meet project milestones and customer requirements. * Participate in the testing and validation of engineering designs and process improvements. * Assist in training and onboarding team members on technical processes and project-related tasks. * Monitor project conditions and notify management of any risks, delays, or necessary adjustments. * Support and participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Maintain open communication with the Vice President of Engineering and other departments to support seamless project execution. * Lead by example in professionalism, problem-solving, and technical excellence. * Perform other duties as assigned in support of engineering and production objectives. Skills and Qualifications: * 2-4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment required. * Demonstrated ability to manage and support technical projects. * Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. * Effective communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation. * Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on tasks as needed.
