The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting regular site inspections in order to

survey customers‘ needs and requirements. Ability to develop a comprehensive scope of

works per project based on Customers' specifications/documents and site inspections.

The Project Engineer must be willing to assist with the implementation of the scope of

work at various phases, They responsible for budget management throughout the Project

Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

Pre Sales:

• Supervising the quotation process

• Quote to be received form Sales and Service in alignment with FGDS BDM
• Making cost price calculations (including installation costs, project
• management costs) on Non Draeger items
• checking of quotations and calculations
• Having project-related drawing work carried out
• Having product adjustments worked out in alignment with FGDS BDM
• Making time schedules
• Selecting suppliers and negotiating prices and conditions for 3rd party
• components.
• Will be responsible for compiling accurate Bill of Quantities for each project

After Sales:

• Supervising projects:

• Ensuring correct registration of projects in the system on Company Folder
• Monitoring quality and progress of projects
• Monitoring the work and the flow of materials
• Visiting project sites and attending construction and site meetings
• Facilitate the procurement of project-related goods and services
• Monitoring price agreements and margins on 3rd party items
• Evaluating projects and suggesting possible process improvements
• Assist with installations when required
• Ensuring Factory Acceptance test, Site Acceptance test and Handover are
• caried over the project lifecycle

Closing and handing over projects:

• Technical delivery of projects
• Monitoring residual and returned materials
• Aligning with Project Coordinator to ensure this takes place
• Ensuring that all handover documents are compiled
• Ensuring all handover documents are signed and completed by the customer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech) in Electrical
• Engineering
• Project Management Qualification is advantageous
• 2-3yrs Experience project management
• Deep technical affinity with technical solutions for
• production-related environment
• AutoCAD Software or E-plan
• English Language
• VCA
• BA4/BA5 (electrical Safety Certification)
