Summary:

Our client is looking to add a talented Project Engineer to their growing team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for the development, planning, procurement, execution and completion of small to large scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs, implements, and communicates an operational plan for completing projects including project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Will serve as the Lead Technical contact for the customer on assigned projects.
• Documents plan, assembles appropriation request, and obtains organizational project approvals.
• Ensuring engineering schedules, budgets and work specifications.
• Monitors progress and performance against the project plan. Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, regulatory compliance, etc.
• Collaborates with other engineers and technical personnel and coordinates their specialized contributions to the development of the project.
• Identifies, evaluates, monitors, and reports project risk according to company risk assessment policy.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years’ relevant experience in project engineering, with 3+ years’ experience in project management.
• Knowledge of various codes (ASME, NBIC, B31.1, etc.) a plus
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/diagrams.
• Must be able to travel (10%-20%), some international.
