Jacobs is NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States. We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team. Qualifications - External Requisition Qualifications: This position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised. · Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2- 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area · Develop project documentation and maintain status of drawings, procurements, risks, etc. · Work with design and analysis teams to ensure project requirements are achieved · Inspection of hardware upon receipt to verify match with fabrication drawing/models · Test rig and equipment buildup as needed · Data analysis of test results · Assist project management with configuration control of project documentation · Development of test procedures including working with various organizations across JSC for flight certification of hardware · Develop presentations as needed · Work in a team environment and report to the team lead to provide status on progress, issues, and needed support · Possess a valid driver's license and be capable of carrying hardware (up to 25lb) up a flight of stairs · Perform other duties as required Requisition Preferences: · BS degree in engineering (preferably electrical engineering) from an accredited engineering school, or MS degree from an accredited engineering school, or Ph.D. from an accredited engineering school · 5 or more years of Project Engineering experience · Previous experience in designing and building unique hardware · Previous experience with NASA JSC policies and procedures · Previous assembly and testing experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $87,000.00 - $116,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Referral program Relocation assistance Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Houston, TX 77058: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
