Summary

Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution. This individual will play a key role in driving project success by managing scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication. What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead and manage Engineering Projects, overseeing all engineering and project management activities for customer projects and product development.
  • Provide technical leadership in design, analysis, documentation review, and resolution of engineering issues.
  • Support supplier quality management (SQM) and contribute to sourcing strategies, bids, and quotations.
  • Ensure technical input and support for pre-project discussions, proposals, and customer quotations.


What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3–5 years of full-cycle project management experience, with a strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-stakes projects from inception to completion—tracking schedules, budgets, risks, and team performance as the project’s key driver.
  • Experience working directly with customers and navigating large-scale, highly detailed contracts, including those exceeding 200 pages.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring revenue targets and invoicing schedules are met.


All-Star Skillset

  • Automotive industry experience with an electrical or mechanical engineering background
  • Battery expertise highly preferred.
  • Proven collaboration with purchasing teams on supplier selection and conducting supplier quality audits.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
