JOB TITLE: Project Engineer - Integration, Test & Evaluation - DEFENSE

LOCATION: Orlando, FL

PAY RATE: $35/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST (First Shift).

Summary:

• Support strategic initiatives including lab space rehabilitation, efficiency improvements, and process enhancements.
• Manage project schedules, deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet lab objectives.
• Maintain daily lab compliance with company policies through 6S initiatives.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and develop innovative solutions.
• Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Provide support and guidance to lab personnel as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, laboratory operations, sustainment, or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with database tracking systems, including service request systems.
• Experience working with a diverse workforce.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with gasoline and diesel engines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills on vehicles.
• Knowledge of Redstone Arsenal, AL operations.
• Experience working with military vehicles such as Bradley, HIMARS, MLRS, HUMVEE, and HEMTT.
• Diesel mechanic experience with bulldozers and/or large diesel engines.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and apply policies and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
