As-directed, supports new and existing equipment for repair, improvements, preventive maintenance, etc.; gather, clarify and file information to keep equipment files up-to-date
Participates in vendor selection and purchasing; contractor selection and management; safety and environmental compliance impacting project and maintenance activities, etc.
Supports plant utilities such as cooling towers, RO/DI, etc., on an as-needed-basis
Perform other duties as required to ensure sustainable compliance and continuous improvement
Skills/ Requirements
Qualified applicants must have:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
2-5 years of related experience in the petrochemical or similar industry are required.
Ability to interact well with all levels of the organization and maintain strong relationships with team members, peers and internal customers.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
Direct experience and/or knowledge with rotating equipment such as:
Pumps, agitators, turbines, compressors, etc.
Electrical systems
Piping systems and valves
Neutralization and filtration systems
Cooling towers/water treatment
Process distribution control
Reactor systems
