Wiles Mensch, a dynamic multidisciplinary consultancy, is looking for a Site Civil Engineer to join our Washington, DC office and contribute to projects that transform communities and promote sustainability.


In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in designing and planning high-profile developments while working closely with a supportive team of engineers. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate on innovative projects, and help create spaces that benefit the community.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of site designs using mainly AutoCAD and Civil 3D software platforms.
  • Assist in the development of construction drawings and work with internal production staff to meet deadlines for site development projects that include site layout, site grading, site geometry, site utilities, and site storm drainage, for commercial, institutional, infrastructure, and transportation projects.
  • Assist in the development of planning studies, preliminary and final design plan production, and project permitting.
  • Assist in the development of erosion and sediment control plans and design E&S control measures in accordance with state criteria.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months + of experience within the land development/site civil engineering field.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • In possession of or obtaining E.I.T.
  • Exposure to AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
