While the job varies day by day and will keep you on your toes, here's a look at what you can expect: * Follow the lifespan of a project from original bid to preconstruction to completion * Develop and follow construction project schedules * Prepare submittals * Track jobs and ensure they are completed on schedule and within budget * Coordinate details of each project with in-house engineers, field team, and estimating If you're wondering why you should join the United Mechanical team, let us put your mind at ease. We'd love to welcome everyone to our United team, but to make sure it's the perfect fit, here's what we're looking for: * B.S. Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field * Up to 3 years of work experience in construction management or related field * Knowledge of HVAC/plumbing systems, building products, construction details/design and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards * Familiarity with construction management software packages * Strong computer skills * Conflict/time/project management skills * Ability to juggle (projects…not bowling pins) United Mechanical United is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
