How you'll make an impact Design, implement and verify power control algorithms and logic for FACTS devices. Maintain extensive contact with other engineering groups, lead engineers, local Hitachi Energy offices, and customers to meet varying control functionality requirements. Perform combined testing of the control system software and hardware. Understand customer needs by reading customer specifications and participating in customer meetings. Your background A BSc or MSc in engineering is required, ideally with a specialization in Control Systems, Power Systems, Automatic Control Theory, Software Engineering, or a similar field. It will be highly valued experience in similar engineering roles, working with electrical power plants, converter stations, process control systems, or substation automation Proficiency in English is essential for this role, given the international nature of our work environment. Additional language skills will be highly valued Knowledge of power quality applications and experience of the MACH™ system will be an added advantage.
