For our office in Heusden-Zolder, we are looking for a project engineer.

Job Description

You will be responsible for the execution of customer purchase orders into actual deliveries on time and according to specification. You will also provide service support to our existing install base. You contribute to engineering tasks to allow continuous improvements of our products.

Amongst others, your tasks will exist of:

• Validation of new projects in Movanis offices
• Commissioning of the project at customer site
• Customer contact for the follow up and execution of service interventions
• Configuration/calibration of software and hardware components
• Continuous improvements of our products

Profile

You have a passion for new technologies and tools. You know how to transfer innovative and creative ideas into feasible solutions. A pro-active, flexible attitude and responsibility characterize you. You have an analytical mind and a pragmatic attitude applies to you. You consider yourself to be a self-starting person who is highly result-driven and constantly focused on quality and continuous improvement. Since you have adopted a getting-things-done spirit, you don’t mind a challenge.

• You have a bachelor or master degree (e.g. computer science, information management, industrial science or equivalent degree and/or experience)
• Both junior and senior profiles can apply.
• You like to travel to international customers for commissioning and service interventions. Expected field days is up to 90 days on yearly basis. Trip length is variable from 1 day up to 2 weeks.
• Good knowledge of electrical power circuits is required
• Knowledge of computer hardware and configurations is required
• Knowledge of PLC Step 7 and TIA Portal would be an advantage
• Basic understanding of programming, preferably C# is considered to be a plus
• You are solution minded with a positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both oral and written. Knowledge of German and/or French is considered a strong plus.
