About the Role

As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project works — from conceptual design through to commissioning. You will play a vital role in delivering innovative, cost-effective, and practical solutions while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency are at the forefront of all activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, installation, and modification projects for process tools and utility plant, always ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Supervise contractors on-site, reviewing and approving method statements, risk assessments, schedules, and issuing permits to work.
• Deliver site safety inductions to new contractors and champion best practices across all activities.
• Prepare and manage budgets for projects and monitor project costs to ensure financial control.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation using relevant IT systems.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings clearly and concisely.
• Actively contribute to developing team skills and fostering flexibility within the design section.
• Participate in 5S activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management Systems

Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of construction techniques and related safety regulations.
• Effective problem solver with the ability to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward.
• Demonstrates resilience, flexibility, and the ability to adopt new technologies.
• Capable of providing leadership and managing projects with minimal supervision.
