Position Title: Project Engineer

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Position Overview:

A prestigious general contractor with over 50 years of history in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a motivated Project Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction. This role is integral to supporting the successful execution of large-scale projects ranging from $20 million to $80 million. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in construction processes, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Procore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers and superintendents in planning and coordinating construction activities.
• Support project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders, using Procore.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely communication and execution.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, reporting on progress and identifying potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
