About the Opportunity: CloudScaler is seeking for one of its clients in Offshore and energy sector, a dedicated professional to join their dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the interdisciplinary coordination of an engineering team in multidisciplinary projects. Besides this, you will also support the Project Manager in the areas of ​budget, planning, delivery times and quality. For specific projects, you will also fulfil the role of Project Leader. You will maintain commercial contacts with (potential) clients and supervise tender processes for multidisciplinary projects. You will also make professional decisions in relation to interdisciplinary overlaps and provide support for the preparation of (multidisciplinary) specifications, draft specifications, contractual documents and general terms and conditions.K

ey Responsibilities:T

• echnical Execution: Support the execution of engineering projects by working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions are implemented effectively.P
• roject Coordination: Assist in the development and coordination of project plans, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders. Work out project details and support the development of technical solutions.C
• ontractor Management: Coordinate with engineering contractors and companies, including contractor selection and management. Facilitate the procurement of work permits and ensure compliance with project specifications.P
• rogress Monitoring: Monitor and report on the progress of projects, including financial performance and quality assurance. Prepare detailed reports and maintain regular communication with clients through progress and evaluation meetings.S
• afety and Compliance: Ensure that all project activities are conducted safely and in compliance with health and environmental regulations. Coordinate actions in the event of calamities or disruptions to maintain a safe working environment.T
• eam Collaboration: Work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Q

ualifications and Skills:E

• ducation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or a related field.E
• xperience: At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with proven experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams and engineering contractors.T
• echnical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge and skills in engineering project execution. Experience in the offshore sector or similar industrial environments is a plus.S
• afety and Compliance: Awareness of safety, health, and environmental standards and the ability to actively promote these in all aspects of work.C
• ommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members. Dutch is advantageous but not mandatory O
• rganizational Skills: Strong organizational and coordination skills with a structured approach to project management.H
