Position Overview

The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles and construction processes, particularly in commercial and multi-family projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and scheduling of project activities
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Prepare and review project documentation, including plans and specifications
• Utilize Bluebeam for project collaboration and document management
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any areas for improvement
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
• Support the project management team in resolving issues and challenges during project execution
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and reports
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar digital collaboration tools
• Experience in commercial and multi-family construction projects
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
